Our primary focus is on connecting youth and experts, fostering awareness, and driving impactful projects to make this issue less sensitive to discuss.

Youth for Non-Communicable Diseases in Disasters (Y-NCD)

NCDs are one of the leading causes of death worldwide. The Y-NCD working group aims to address the various challenges related to NCDs with a particular focus on disasters. We aim to raise youth awareness on early detection and facilitate the training of young people as key actors in surveillance and palliative care, especially conditions where there are limited resources available. Youth perspective engagement at multi stakeholder level is also one of our main goals.
